This is a scene from our farm in Rockbridge County, Virginia. I loved how the sunlight filtered through the tree canopy, leaving spots of bright yellow in the grass. The pasture was being mowed at the time, so a path had been cut through it. I’ve been told in the art world that green doesn’t sell — but I love green, so I went for it.
