Early one morning, I came upon this view while walking down the old Mill Mountain Road in Roanoke, Virginia and was struck by how it reminded me of a Maxfield Parrish painting. I tried to capture the glow of the sunrise and the timeless beauty of the early 1900s architecture around me.
